Helping you heal by guiding you into deep rest with Yoga Nidra

You're not bad at meditation. You just need to do it more.

Just like an NBA player goes to practice everyday to work on his craft, we must practice everyday (or regularly) to work on our craft (a.k.a. meditation).

The NBA player takes an hour to practice, yet he won’t always make 100% of his shots. In other words, it won’t always be perfect. Just like it won’t be perfect when we practice meditation.

The NBA player must work on other tools to complement his basketball practice – strength, flexibility, balance, speed, and mindset to name a few. Just like we must work on other tools to support our meditation practice – focus, breath, and even strength and flexibility to make sitting or lying down less painful and more effortless.

Why am I telling you all this?

Because unlike popular belief, meditation it’s not something you try once and be good or bad at it. I mean, that would be too easy, wouldn’t it?

It’ a skill. A practice. A lifestyle.

Like when you exercise and eat well regularly to stay physically healthy.

Or when you brush your teeth everyday so you don’t get cavities.

We practice meditation everyday (or at least regularly) to stay mentally and emotionally ‘fit’ while navigating the challenges of everyday life.

A PRACTICE IS WHAT IT TAKES TO HEAL.

But I get it...

Starting and keeping a regular practice is haaaaaard, no matter who you are.

This is why I created some simple tools and programs to help you get started without the stress, overwhelm, or fear of missing out. Keep scrolling down below to get started.

Hey. I'm Argentina

I tried yoga for the first time back when I was in high school. I had just moved to the US from the Dominican Republic and was going through a lot of changes at the time – new school, new friends. New language. New weather. New everything! Life was overwhelming and being the shy person in the room certainly didn’t make things any easier. The anxiety and stress was real. Yoga was such a welcoming relief that I was curious to learn more and keep practicing. It became a retreat from all the chaos and the perfect way to stay present. I practiced on and off throughout the years and became more steady as I grew older.

I completed my yoga teacher training in 2015 and quickly became a full time instructor, teaching in the most diverse place in the world, New York City. Teaching yoga in rooms packed with so many types of people taught me one thing and one thing only…
