We often associate morning classes with super intense sequences packed with Chaturangas, planks, lunges, core work, and fast-moving sequences. But, it doesn’t have to be that way. Sometimes, a good Cat and Cow, a couple of side stretches, and of course, some deep breathing might be good enough to wake-up in the morning hours.
This gentle, energizing, slow-moving, morning yoga class may be all you need to get you going in the morning. It’s great for beginners and all practitioners looking to keep it slow and gentle.
FREE Yoga Nidra for Anxiety
We begin with some deep breathing to calm and center and to energize the body and mind. We then begin to connect breath with movement with some slow Vinyasa and yummy side stretches. We then go into some standing poses (no flow), some twists, and finally some stretches on the back before settling into the final resting Savasana (Corpse Pose).
