30-Minute Morning Yoga Class to Cultivate Gratitude

30-minute morning vinyasa yoga class to cultivate gratitude - Argentina Rosado Yoga
The practice of gratitude has been known to benefit physical, mental, and emotional health in so many ways. Among some of those benefits are:
  • The feeling of joy and happiness
  • Better relationships
  • Better physical and emotional health
  • Lower stress
  • And more.
Aside from all of the above, there is one huge benefit that can be attained through the practice of gratitude. That benefit is the abundant mindset. You see, by practicing gratitude we are training the mind to look at what we have, instead of what we don’t have. We learn to see the glass half full or the grass greener on our side no matter what the situation may be.
30-MINUTE Morning Vinyasa Yoga Class to practice gratitude
But why is that important? What’s so special about seeing the glass half full?
If you’re familiar with the law of attraction and the law of vibration, you may know that our thoughts shape our reality. If we’re constantly thinking about what we don’t have, and why we don’t have it, we begin to see the world as “not enough” and create a vibration of lack. As a result, we create more lack.
Similarly, if we think about what we do have, we create the feeling of “having enough” and the vibration of abundance.
There are many ways to practice gratitude. We can practice gratitude through journaling, meditation, through movement, among others.
In this 30-minute, morning Vinyasa flow, we begin with a short, breath awareness meditation followed by an introspective gratitude practice.
We continue the class with a slow creative flow, followed by sun salutations, chair pose, warrior poses and lunges. There is a little bit of core work sprinkled in throughout as well. We finish with a delicious hip opening practice and of course Savasana.
This practice is suitable for all levels.
