This is a 5-minute (or longer if you wish), mental- reset meditation to help clear your mind, focus, and refresh. The best part about this meditation is that you can do it anywhere, and anytime you need to take a break, say from work, studying, or life in general.
This meditation is clear proof that you do not need 20-40-60 minute time-slots to meditate. You can take 1-2 minutes to just breathe and call it meditation. So the next time you find yourself giving the “I don’t have time to meditate” excuse, you can come back to this post/audio.
THE TECHNIQUE
This meditation includes breath counting, which is a form of mindfulness training. By counting our breaths backwards, we are able to train our minds to focus on one thing while moving into deeper relaxation and stillness. It’s simple, yet super effective.
As always, I’d like to remind you that meditation is a practice that takes time, patience, and dedication. It is not meant to be a quick fix for anything. Yes, it may provide you with instant “relief” but the real results are seen over time.
