20-Minute Hands Free Vinyasa Yoga Class

Hands Free Vinyasa Flow Yoga Class - Argentina Rosado Yoga New York 1

A few years ago I suffered a shoulder injury that kept me out of the game for months. I didn’t know the severity of this injury until I showed up to a Vinyasa yoga class the very next day. I quickly learned that I wasn’t able to perform more than half of the poses without my shoulders. I found myself in a lot of pain, even with modifications (i.e. lowering the knees in plank).

A Vinyasa flow is known for its plank-chaturanga-updog-downdog combo sequence, which are extremely strenuous on the shoulders and wrists, especially when done incorrectly and repetitively. Yes, I could have looked for hands free classes on YouTube but back then, I didn’t know any better.

This hands-free yoga class sequence is designed to give your shoulders and wrists a much needed break, whether you’re suffering from an injury or just want to take a break from traditional Vinyasa.

FREE Yoga Nidra for Anxiety

I do not recommend this class for complete beginners as there are some intermediate yoga poses (warrior 3) and some one-breath-per-movement tempo as well. Of course, you can throw in your own downward facing dog at anytime if you wish. The great thing about online classes is that you can make them your own.
